Ambur Kim Kiriu
Ambur Kim Kiriu – Owner & Vice President, Public Relations

Ambur has been in real estate for over 20 years and is an owner of Better Homes and Gardens Real Estate Advantage Realty. She has experience in all the facets of a residential real estate transaction and helps Myron run the team and their business. Her commitment to customer service and her incredibly strong communication skills has been instrumental in the success of the Team Kiriu and Better Homes and Garden Real Estate Advantage Realty as a company. Sherrie Sasaki, RA, JD – Team Manager RS-74829

Joining our team in 2012, Sherrie came to us with a unique and diversified background. She has a Bachelor of Science degree in Geology & Geophysics with a concentration in engineering geology and hydrogeology and Juris Doctorate degree.  Prior to joining Team Kiriu, Sherrie spent 5 years as a Project Geologist and 10 years as a licensed attorney.  Aside from helping Myron and Ambur manage the team, Sherrie assists in overseeing each transaction as it advances through the escrow process and insures that every transaction is handled with the highest level of competency and professionalism.
Kerri Tamakawa, RA, JD – Listing Specialist RS-77631

Kerri joined the Team Kiriu as a Listing Specialist. She earned her BS in Mathematics from UCLA and an MS in Mathematics from UH Manoa. After graduating from UH, Kerri worked there as a Mathematics teacher for a time then went on to earn her JD/Masters in Business Taxation from USC Law School. In 2003, Kerri passed the Bar exam in California and practiced as an attorney with Melveny and Myers, LLP in Los Angeles and then went on to joined Arnold & Porter LLP as an attorney in San Francisco. Kerri is excited to assist you in helping to coordinate the process of preparing your home for sale. With her background, she provides that added assurance that your home preparation and sale will proceed smoothly.
Sachiko Yanagihara, RA – Executive Sales Agent RS-73660

Sachiko joined Team Kiriu as an Executive Sales Agent focusing on our Japanese clientele after many years as an independent agent. She was born and raised in Osaka, Japan and worked at the Asahi Broadcasting Corporation as an administrative right after graduating from Kobe Shoin Women's College. In 2000, she made a dream come true by moving to Hawaii. Sachiko worked as a wedding coordinator, office manager and accountant for a wedding company here on Oahu. It was there that she found she really loves meeting new people, taking care of their needs and helping them realize their dreams. What better dream than to help clients find the home they love. Creating a commitment to a "client first" approach to real estate, she follows in Myron's footsteps by making our clients needs first priority.
Sue Jo, RA – Executive Sales Agent RS-78530

Sue joined Team Kiriu to work closely with Myron to service both Buyers and Sellers, particularly in the Aiea, Pearl City and Salt Lake neighborhoods. She earned her BS in Finance from Michigan State University and a MS in Design Strategy & Innovation from Brunel University. Sue grew up in Korea and worked for large companies such as Nestle and Ipsos. Her extensive past corporate experience allows Sue to provide high quality service to our clients as an agent that works tirelessly to help them to prepare, market and sell their homes to their complete satisfaction. Sue is also highly capable of representing our Buyers find the property that fits with their lifestyle then closing on that sale. Sue is also fluent both in Korean and English and uses her second language skills to find the right overseas buyers for our Hawaii property listing.
Taryn Loo, RA – Buyers Specialist RS-76619

Taryn started in 2014 at Better Homes & Gardens Real Estate Advantage Realty as an escrow manager. She soon joined the Kiriu real estate team as a Client Relations Specialist helping Sellers with their needs as their home was listed for sale. With this background, Taryn now helps our Buyers find the right real estate opportunity as our Buyers Specialist. She provides the sense of urgency needed to ensure our Buyers are first to see properties which ideally meet their needs and stays on top of the housing inventory to make sure our clients view new listings as soon as they enter the market. Her market knowledge will be critical in helping you find the right property at the right price.
Chris Lee, RA
Chris Lee, RA – Client Relations Specialist RS-78895

Chris joined the Kiriu real estate team as a Client Relations Specialist. Born and raised in Hawaii he left to attend Seattle University where he gained a Masters in Professional Accounting. He returned to Oahu and worked at the well-known accounting firm KMH, LLP as an In-charge Auditor. Chris is excited to be helping attend to the needs our clients throughout their transactions. His role on the team is to assist our clients with showing requests, open houses and any client needs that may come up along the way. Chris provides an invaluable service to our clients to keep their home's sale moving forward by actively engaging with all Buyers and Agents that seek to see their property once it's listed for sale. Chris invites them in and points out the homes selling points then follows up with them to seek their feedback once they've left the property.
Trisha Kagawa, RA – Listing Specialist RS-80452

Trisha joined Team Kiriu as a Listing Specialist to assist our clients who are getting ready to sell their home. Before joining the Team, Trisha worked at the Sullivan Family of Companies as the Director of Store Planning and Visual Merchandising. Prior to that, she was with MVNP Advertising where she was an Account Supervisor. Trisha graduated from the University of Hawaii at Manoa with a degree in Business Administration with an emphasis in Marketing. She is ready and willing to start helping you with all of your home selling needs so we are able to sell your home quickly and for the most value.

Leah Chun – Escrow Specialist RS-80010

Leah joined Team Kiriu as an Escrow Specialist. Raised in Laie, on the north shore of Oahu, she graduated from Sacred Hearts Academy and has a BA in Management and Marketing from the University of Portland. Prior to joining the team, Leah worked at United Laundry Services as the Human Resources Manager. With her experience of providing customer service and coordinating and organizing processes, Leah will be there to assist Buyer and Sellers with scheduling appointments and keeping track of timeframes once your property goes into escrow.
Mary Martin, RA – Executive Associate RS-61523

Mary joined the team in 2010 with over 18 years of experience as an administrator with other real estate companies.  Mary's role with our team is to prepare contracts, prepare listing presentations along with the related comparative market analysis, and ensure that all members of the team are properly integrated with each other. Mary's past experience is additional insurance that your transaction is handled with the utmost professional care.
Debbie Jow Ito, RA, SRES – Technology Marketing Specialist RS-73401

Debbie joined Team Kiriu with over 20 years of marketing, advertising and design experience. Before joining the Team, Debbie had worked at HMSA, Hill & Knowlton/Communications Pacific and Aloha Magazine in various capacities of marketing and design. Debbie has also been an active agent with our company since 2010. With her previous experience and background as an active Buyers' and Sellers' agent, Debbie brings a unique perspective in working for our clients to market their properties. She excited to utilize her knowledge of both real estate and marketing to help the team continue to be forward thinking using technology to help our clients sell their homes.
